Natural Protein Matcha Recipe

A nourishing Natural Protein Matcha blend made with banana, plant-based milk, matcha, and optional protein powder—creamy, energizing, and naturally refreshing.
Ingredients
- 25ml pulped banana mix
- 120ml almond or oat milk, chilled
- 3g matcha powder
- 45ml hot water (preferably 70–80°C)
- A handful of ice cubes
- Protein powder of your choice (optional but recommended)
Method
1. Start by preparing the matcha. Add the matcha powder to a small bowl and pour in the hot water. Using a whisk, briskly blend the mixture until it becomes smooth, lump-free, and slightly frothy. Set it aside while you prepare the rest of the drink.
2. In a blender, add the chilled almond or oat milk, your preferred protein powder, and the pulped banana mix. The banana adds natural sweetness and creaminess, making the drink both nutritious and satisfying.
3. Add a generous handful of ice cubes to the blender to give the drink a refreshing, cool texture.
4. Pour the whisked matcha over the ingredients in the blender, allowing it to create a vibrant green layer on top.
5. Blend everything together on high speed until the mixture becomes thick, smooth, and silky.
6. Serve immediately in a tall glass for a nourishing, energizing, and protein-rich matcha boost.
